§01Brief
A pinned-scroll holding-company story: a Mercury-style building zoom, a fiery supernova that detonates white, navbar theme-shift mid-scroll. No framework, no hydration, 22 KB on the wire.
§02Problem
Holding-company sites usually feel like brochures from 2014. We wanted scroll choreography that felt like a film opening — without dragging in 200 KB of framework runtime.
§03Approach
- Single-file build pipeline: build.js → deploy-worker.js → enable-subdomain.js
- Pinned 400vh sticky scroll for the building zoom, cross-fading to the interior
- Supernova scroll: 550vh pinned, animated corona, navbar theme-switches dark to light at detonation
- Zero framework — every kilobyte hand-budgeted
§04Outcome
Free-tier Cloudflare hosting, global edge distribution, and a Lighthouse score that makes the team's SaaS Next.js builds look slow. Reusable as the landing-page template for every future venture.
